About Our Line
Every piece of jewelry from our collection showcases a Venetian glass intaglio that has been formed using molds over 700 years old. Our intaglios are made in an array of colors produced by long-held secret blending and processing techniques, which are then cast into reliefs based on greek and roman mythology. We then mount our newly minted pieces in a vermeil setting.
Vermeil is sterling silver that has been layered in gold—18K gold in the case of our intaglio collection. It should be noted that vermeil jewelry is regulated by the FTC, as it must have a minimum gold thickness of 2.5 microns. This makes the amount of gold used much more substantial than other gold-plated offerings.
